Ligai Si Anii
Our Story
Antelope Valley Canyon Tours by Ligai Si Anii is a Navajo, female-owned and operated hiking tour business founded in 2016. The business was born from a desire to share the stunning landscapes and breathtaking slot canyons of Antelope Valley with visitors while honoring the rich cultural heritage of the Navajo Nation.
Led by a family deeply connected to the land, the tours cover approximately 15 square miles of pristine backcountry located on the Yazzie family ranch. This unique venture provides guests with an authentic, exclusive, and immersive experience in one of the most picturesque and remote areas of the Southwest.
The tours offer visitors the opportunity to explore breathtaking canyon landscapes, rugged terrain, and diverse wildlife, all while learning about the history and traditions of the Navajo people.
As a working ranch with livestock, the area offers a rare glimpse into the daily life and sustainable practices of a Native American family ranch operation. With a focus on education, preservation, and connection to the land, Antelope Valley Canyon Tours is a must for those seeking to experience the natural beauty and cultural richness of the Navajo Nation.
